Elevating Unboxing Experiences for Global Influencers
How to make an impression with global superstars.
Adidas, one of the most iconic sportswear brands globally, is known for its innovation in performance footwear and apparel. The Nemeziz, first launched in 2017, is Adidas’ premier football boot designed for agility and explosive movement, endorsed by some of the world's top athletes, including Lionel Messi.As part of the Nemeziz 19 launch, Adidas needed an unboxing experience that would impress influencers and global soccer stars, ensuring the packaging matched the revolutionary technology inside the boot. Adidas partnered with Logic Inc., alongside the lead agency Archrival, to create a custom packaging solution that showcased not only the footwear but also supporting assets like apparel and a soccer ball.
Jordan Harper, Founder of Logic Inc., commented, “Packaging for a brand as iconic as Adidas required us to innovate beyond traditional solutions. We knew this unboxing experience would be seen by millions, and our goal was to ensure the packaging was as exciting as the product it housed.”
Challenges
One of the major challenges was designing a packaging system that could beautifully and functionally house both the footwear and a soccer ball together, offering a seamless unboxing experience. The spherical shape of the ball made it difficult to create a layout that balanced both components while maintaining visual harmony. Moreover, the design needed to make an immediate impact on social media, as influencers and global sports stars would be sharing their unboxing moments with millions of followers.

Solution
Logic Inc. collaborated closely with Adidas and Archrival to design a packaging solution that highlighted the innovative Nemeziz boot and the accompanying soccer ball.

Custom Multi-Element Design: Logic Inc. engineered a dual-compartment packaging system that allowed the soccer ball and footwear to be displayed together, each in its own section, without overshadowing one another. The packaging featured layers of interactive elements, making the unboxing experience more immersive as influencers revealed each component. The design ensured that the ball, typically a difficult object to package, was secured yet displayed prominently alongside the footwear, emphasizing the agility and dynamism of the Nemeziz product line.

Minimalist Aesthetic with Bold Graphics: The exterior packaging was kept sleek and modern, using Adidas’ signature branding while incorporating bold, energetic graphic elements inspired by the Nemeziz boot's agility and performance. This visual design not only aligned with Adidas' brand identity but also helped amplify the social media impact of the unboxing.

Seamless Integration of Accessories: In addition to the footwear and soccer ball, the packaging also housed supporting accessories, such as clothing. The thoughtful arrangement ensured each piece complemented the overall aesthetic without cluttering the presentation.
